Custom Slaughter and Processing
Herring Brothers Meats offers custom processing of beef, pork, lambs, and goats for customers that raise animals for their own use. Just call to make an appointment for a drop off date.
We will then ask for your cutting and packaging instructions. We have an instruction sheet here at the plant to fill out for each animal. Also we have the cutting instruction sheets available
on this website to print. Call with any questions. Everything is vacuum sealed, labeled and froze. We offer hickory smoked, brown sugar cured smoking on-site.
There is also nitrate free smoking available, if so desired. We have six types of sausage seasoning to choose from. (breakfast, sweet, hot, maple, garlic, & chorizo) The sausage is available
in bulk packages and in casings. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have when slaughtering and processing your animals with us! Here are our prices.
Private Label/USDA-Federal Slaughter and Processing
Currently, we service approximately 95 private label accounts. Private label means that you raise your own animals for resale to the public. In order to do this, you must have an approved
label with your farm name and information with our USDA establishment number ledger. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have about approved private label processing.
When we have a proper label, you can call for an appointment for a drop off date. When you bring your animal in, we will then get your instructions on how to cut and package. We have an instruction
sheet here at the plant to fill out. Or the instruction sheets are available to print from this website. Call with any questions. Everything is cut the way you want, packaged, vacuum sealed,
labeled (your farm label and a product label), and froze.
